Join Yvette Ten-Bohmer for an afternoon of getting messy and creative making Trash Creatures from recycled materials. In this workshop, you'll be given a load of unloved rubbish to play with and create new found beauty:) Yvette will step you through the creative process of idea bombing, sketching your creature and fully forming your Trash Creature in 3D using materials supplied. There's so much fun, problem-solving and creativity to be found, giving new purpose to old, unwanted, waste materials.

This event is part of the Hamilton 150 year celebrations! Following on from this workshop there'll be activities at Gregson Park. You can take your Trash Creatures to the park and enjoy performances from 'Curious Legends', live music offerings and mini-festival vibes.

This workshop is suitable for ages 6+

We thank the City of Newcastle and the Port of Newcastle for their generous support.
