Call out to Hunter Health Workers! We are running a series of workshops for our local health industry - from hospital cleaners to consultants, pharmacists to psychologists. Whatever your field, as long as it involves health, and you can show us, we would love to have you come along and get creative in our little Hum.
We've all faced incredible challenges this year and particularly our health workers. As a way of saying 'thanks' we are offering our local health community a series of 'Scrubs-Off Art' workshops. These workshops are generously supported by City of Newcastle.
Scrubs-Off paint is an opportunity to try your hand at painting an iconic Newcastle location using acrylics. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon as Lucy takes you through the tricks and techniques of acrylic painting on canvas in a laid-back approachable environment.
The session will be run step by step while ensuring plenty of room for your inner creativity to run wild! No art experience is required and even self-identified non-creatives will be sure to walk out having had a great time and feeling proud of their achievement.
Lucy is a fun-loving artist behind the hugely popular Art Social 'paint and sip' workshops for adults. Lucy loves working with people of all ages and credits her mother for her creative flair! She loves challenging herself and exploring different ways to express her creativity whether it is through painting, making clothes, travelling and meeting new people. The Art Social combines her love of creativity and bringing people together to have fun while trying something new.
This workshop is exclusively for our Hunter Health workers - please tell us about your work when you book in.
