We are super-excited to have artist and designer, Nina Katzmarski, teaching an 8 week course on the wonderful world of self-publishing through Zines. In this course designed for year 6 to Year 9 students, you will explore different mediums to express visual ideas including collage and illustration.

Leading on from this, you will explore typography and layout and develop visual story-telling skills. In the final weeks of the series you'll create a series of zines in different formats that will be printed and bound in black and white or colour. If you wish, your zines can even be distributed to the public via Zine Project boxes which are springing up around Newcastle!

Zines are a wonderful way to explore self-expression in an experimental and playful way.

We are a registered Creative Kids Provider! This workshop is eligible for you to claim the $100 Creative Kids Rebate. Please contact us to find out how to access this :)

Young creatives are welcome to "come and try" this class for $30
