Join Textile artist Amanda Donohue in this special taster course where, over six weeks, you will explore a range of different techniques including wet felting, fabric printing, shibori and stitching. These are small group workshops designed to stimulate your senses over six, 2-hour sessions on Friday afternoons.

You will learn about a new technique each week and, depending on the session, how your textiles can be used for making bags, eye glass cases, bowls, coasters, hangings. We'll start with a wet felting session first and then in the following weeks develop this technique, undertake different shibori methods, print up some bags or tea towels and do some shashiko stitching.

This course is a great opportunity to enjoy handmade processes in a relaxed environment and have fun learning how to continue these traditional crafts. No experience is needed, beginners are welcome.

Price is $270 per person for the course, with all materials provided.
