By popular demand we're bringing back this rad skate deck art workshop in the summer hols.
We'll begin with some planning, inspiration and brainstorming looking at a brief history of skateboard, surfboard and street art. We'll also be running non-stop skate videos on our drop-down screen to keep your inspiration fuelled. Our resident skater, artist and educator, Lu Quade, will share tips and tricks on simple design elements that can make your skate deck pop! Then it's over to you, designing your deck on paper to nut out the details to make sure you get the max from your ideas. Finally you get to bring your ideas to life painting your deck with a variety of different techniques and materials available. Then best of all, you get to take home your very own, personalised deck ready to hang on your bedroom wall.
This workshop is ideal for kids 8+.
Limited spots available so your child gets plenty of one on one time.
