Life-long surfer and lover of all things creative, James Robinson, of Sydney-based 'Bound by Sea', will be hosting a super-special pyrography workshop in Newcastle.
Inspired by the ocean, surf and skate culture, James has quite literally etched himself a thoroughly unique style creating pyrography artwork that is both visually stunning and a tactile experience. James loves to share his passion in pyrography to create unique workshops in the art of all things wood burning.
In this workshop you'll learn to create a piece of pyrography artwork from beginning to end; learning how to use the tools, tips on layouts, application and how to outline and shade. James will supply you with a wood template of one of his original designs which you'll take home. In addition you'll also take home your own pyrography kit valued at $70 - this is yours to keep and practice your new-found favourite skill:)
This workshop is suitable for anyone curious and willing to learn a new skill. Age 15+
Vaccination guidelines
We are so looking forward to getting back to face to face classes so we will be following public health guidelines to ensure we can keep our community as safe as possible. Requirements as follows: - Currently, all people over 16 attending classes at Hudson Street Hum will need to be fully vaccinated unless they have written proof of a medical exemption.
- COVID-Safe check-ins and proof of vaccination is required for all teachers and customers.
- Unvaccinated children and teens can only attend Kids and Teen classes and must adhere to mask wearing and social distancing requirements.

What to bring:
* Casual clothing but we ask nothing loose that can get caught.
* Long hair to be tied back.
* Please bring your own water bottle and snacks if required.
