Jane will share her expertise, teaching you how to create portraits using both brush and palette knife techniques. You'll gain confidence mixing colours, building layers, blending and using glazing techniques to add new depth to your portrait work.

In this series we will have 1 session with a professional clothed model. Using a life model for portraiture offers the advantage of allowing you to capture intricate details, subtleties of expression, and nuanced lighting that photographs often miss.

In these guided classes run over four weeks, you'll learn to take small risks often to increase your confidence, develop your skill and find reward in your creative development.
