Join professional photographer and educator, Jan Cameron, in an 8 week course exploring digital photography. This course is ideal for primary school students aged 8+ wishing to explore and develop their creative skills.

This is a structured programme including: Introduction to Photography, Composition and Framing, Aperture, Portraiture, Shutter Speeds,Lighting and Portfolio Preparation.

All camera equipment will be supplied and all images captured will be downloaded to a USB and dropbox following the classes.

Please note: as part of this course, some time will be spent outdoors. Students, as a group, will explore the area surrounding Hudson Street Hum to take photos. They will always be accompanied by a teacher.

Jan Cameron has recently relocated from Sydney to beautiful Newcastle. Jan has over 15 years experience teaching children photography at various schools and venues in Sydney and also teaches design at Hunter TAFE.
