In this fun, relaxed class you will draw inspiration from the iconic artist Frida Kahlo. Choose your own style while learning how to paint a portrait, capture a likeness, mix colours, create a good composition and develop your painting techniques. You may not capture Frida exactly but it could morph into looking like Frida's sister, aunty or best friend! Workshop Schedule
What you get:
This is a one day course from 10am to 3.30pm. As well as taking home your very own Frida-inspired artwork, we supply a Mexican-fiesta morning tea and extra paints if needed.
What to bring: Apron or old clothes. Brushes. Canvas - size of your choice but recommend not too large. Acrylic paints (basic primaries, flesh, white, burnt sienna, magenta, turquoise if you can). Lunch. Your lovely creative self!About Deanne Newland
