Join local botanical artist, Lauren May SK, in her ‘Introduction to Natural History Art and Illustration’ course.
In this 6 week course, you will be guided through the process of translating what you see into detailed, realistic paintings and studies. We will build on skills such as observational drawing and watercolour painting techniques that allow you the control and precision that you want. We will also learn about composition, form and colour and how these principles work together to produce a lifelike rendering of your chosen subject.
This course is designed for students with a basic foundation in drawing and watercolour who are ready to refine their technique, deepen their observation, and bring greater precision and realism to their work.
