Develop your observational skills and confidence in drawing or painting from life in this relaxed four-week studio series featuring a clothed life model holding extended poses.
Working with longer poses over each session allows you to move beyond quick sketches and explore proportion, composition, light, colour and form in greater depth. Whether you choose to draw or paint, you'll have the time to carefully observe your subject, refine your technique and create more resolved artworks.
This series provides a supportive environment where you can work at your own pace while receiving guidance from practicing artist, Jane Lander. Explore expressive mark-making, tonal values, colour relationships and the subtle character of the human form or study of the face in portraiture.
Bring your preferred drawing or painting materials and enjoy the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rewarding practice of working from a life model over multiple sessions.
