In this short lino printing workshop you'll create a simple one colour lino print. You will be guided to design, carve and print your own lino block ready for framing or to create greetings cards.

A great introduction to printmaking, it is a technique which can be practiced in the home or studio with minimal cost and amazing results. Participants will learn how to prepare and transfer images to the lino using their own designs or transfer designs provided by the tutor; how to cut and carve a lino block using a variety of mark making techniques; ink up and print the block using water based inks. Hand printing methods will be covered so the process can be replicated easily at home with minimal equipment.

Price is $90 per person and includes All materials including printing paper, inks, the use of lino tools and printing equipment.

This course is perfect for beginners. Suitable for ages 18+

Amanda investigates these themes and images in connection to her own personal history. With a BA in Visual Arts (Honours in Printmaking) from the University of Sydney, Amanda has over 20 years experience. Amanda's work is collected in galleries throughout Australia and she exhibits regularly.
