In this new series, 'Figure in Focus' we'll be running one-off workshops concentrating on different aspects of drawing the human form. This workshop, guided by artist and educator, Yvette Ten-Bohmer, will focus on positive and negative spaces in relation to the figure. Learning to use positive and negative space to observe better will improve your drawing and compositions skills.

Inspired by Carivaggio's use of light, this workshop will use light and dark to capture form, create space and add drama to your life drawings. Please note, this workshop will be using a professional, unclothed model.

Yvette is passionate about the visual arts and through her energy and flare she inspires us to express our shared human experience. This is a unique opportunity for anyone who is interested in drawing the human form. These classes are suitable for all skill levels from beginners through to those wishing to develop or refresh their skills.
