Have you ever wanted to learn the ancient craft of wet felting wool? This wonderful and versatile craft can be used to create both beautiful and functional objects.

In this workshop, you'll learn new skills and take away your own unique felt vessel. This could be a be a vase, bowl, water bottle cover, pouch or tea cosy.

To begin the day we'll talk about the principles of felting - laying out the wool tops, shrinkage, decoration and the process of felting itself. Then you can chose what you want to make and create a templete, if necessary, proceeding to create your chosen item. If you want to you can create a flat piece of felt that can be used to make a wall hanging, cushion cover, journal cover, coasters, needle-case, small bag or other similar items.

By the end of the class everyone will have created their own original piece and have learnt a wonderful traditional craft. This workshop is a great opportunity to enjoy handmade processes in a relaxing setting.

This workshop is suitable for adults/18 years old and above. Please note that It is a bit physical rolling the felt.
