High School students are invited to join Peter Lankas to explore working with the human form via expressive, pop and surreal approaches to create your own personal characters. Infuse your art making with a modern buzz using alternate tools, mixed media and creative and experimental drawing techniques. This workshop is ideal for high school students wishing to develop their artistic skills whilst nurturing their creative freedom. Peter likes to keep class sizes small allowing for one-on-one tuition. This workshop is ideal for students aged 13-18.

Peter is an award-winning artist with over 30 years experience in both teaching and working as a practitioner in the process of drawing and painting. He has a Masters degree in Fine Art from the University of Newcastle. He currently teaches painting and drawing at the Newcastle Art School (TAFE) and regularly conducts workshops throughout the Hunter region and the Central coast.
