If you are looking to improve your drawing skills, a life drawing class is the perfect place to start. In this 4 week series you will be guided by artist and educator, Jane Lander. You will have the opportunity to draw from a live model, which will help you to develop your understanding of the human form and hone your artistic technique.

This life drawing series will work towards building skills and experience with extended poses. Shorter poses will explored in the first 2 sessions to help you develop your ability to capture the model's gesture and movement. The poses will get progressively getting longer culminating in extended poses of 40-50 minutes, allowing you to really focus on the details of the model's form and capture their essence on paper.

As we will be working towards longer poses, some prior experience in Life Drawing would be beneficial. While we will provide a selection of graphite and compressed and willow charcoal, feel free to bring your own materials including white and colour pastels.

This is a wonderful opportunity for those wishing to develop their skills through guidance and tutoring from a professional, practicing artist.

This is a four week course but please note that the course will not run on Mon 12 June as it is a public holiday.
