Join celebrated local artist, Ros Earp, in a Botanical Illustration Workshop.

In this workshop you'll refine your techniques in drawing and watercolour painting a botanical subject. Ros will guide you through advanced shading, composition, watercolour washes and colour mixing. You'll learn to create lifelike textures and detailed representations of leaves, flowers, and other botanical elements.

This workshop provides a perfect balance of structured lesson, demos and hands-on practice. You'll receive personalised feedback to help you develop your style and overcome specific challenges. With a focus on observation and precision, you’ll enhance your ability to translate the delicate details of nature onto paper.

This workshop is ideal to those who have some foundational skills in watercolour and are looking to develop their practice in the intricacies of Botanical Illustration.

Spaces are strictly limited to 8 people to ensure individual attention.

After completing a BA Science and Horticultural Certificate, Ros has gone on to study a Masters of Design (Wildlife Illustration), winning the 'Deans Medal'. Ros' artwork has been exhibited in galleries throughout Australia, US and Europe. Ros' artwork has also been used to create Wallpaper with designer company, Materialised, and many of you will be familiar with the Botanical tile mural she created for the front facade of the Earp Distillery.
