Are you ready to start your watercolour journey? Or perhaps build on the skills you already have?Join artist, Lauren May SK, to begin your discovery of this beautiful and versatile medium.
In this four-week beginner course, we’ll explore the essentials of painting with watercolour — from understanding your materials and how the medium behaves, to learning key techniques like washes, layering and blending. Each week, we’ll apply these techniques in small, achievable painting studies, setting a strong foundation for your creative journey.

Lauren has a Bachelor of Natural History Illustration (Grade I Honours) from the University of Newcastle. Her botanical art pieces are held in collections of the Sydney Florilegium Botanical Art Society as well as the Hunt Institute of Botanical Documentation in Pittsburgh, US. Lauren is a member of the prestigious Sydney Florilegium and the Botanical Art Society of Australia.
Workshop Schedule
This is a 4 week course to be held on Wednesday evening starting 11th March until 1st April, 6.30pm-8.30pm.
