In this very special workshop, visiting artist, Jun, will teach you the Advanced Modern Kintsugi method. This workshop is suitable for those confident working with detail in 3d objects.
Participants will assemble a broken bowl, with multiple cracks and curves, repairing the inside with the modern Kintsugi method. Using a modern lacquer, that takes 2-3 days to dry, you will complete the inside of the bowl during the workshop. Once the lacquer has dried, the remaining repairing of the outside of the bowl will be completed at home. The workshop fee also includes a Kintsugi kit with modern lacquer, solvent, brush and brass powder.
This workshop will consist of expert instruction and practical making time. All tools (individually supplied with no sharing of tools), information and written materials will be supplied.
